Terre received her degree in nursing through Wagner College. She then studied Sociology and was granted a M.A. Degree from City University of NY. Returning to school to study acupuncture, she received a Master's Degree in Acupuncture from the Maryland University of Integrative Health, formally known as the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Maryland. Terre is certified by the National Commission of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), has advanced training in acudetoxification, and is NADA certified. In 2009 Terre worked as an Acupuncture Fellow at Beth Israel Medical Center through the Department of Integrative Medicine. She has also worked as an acupuncturist at NYU -involved with different studies in the use of acupuncture treating chronic disease. Terre brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare to her practice, having worked as a registered nurse for many years. Her expansive knowledge of western medicine compliments her understanding of the patient's condition when seen for acupuncture.
